Rouge Media Joins Digital Place Based Advertising Association

NEW YORK, April 18, 2016 – The Digital Place Based Advertising Association (DPAA) announced today that Rouge Media, a media company with digital screens on college campuses and in beauty venues and restaurants/bars in North America, has joined the association. DPAA members help brands effectively connect to consumers on-the-go at targeted locations.

Rouge Media’s network reaches millions of consumers on their daily journeys out of home, including students aged 18-24, women 18-54 and adults 18-49. Rouge Media helps leading international brands — including P&G, Kraft, Unilever, Mercedes-Benz, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, Sony and Microsoft, among many others — to connect with these consumers on a daily basis.

“Rouge Media operates a very dynamic and successful place-based media network, as evidenced by the large number of Fortune 500 brands that have utilized the network to connect with consumers on the go,” said Barry Frey, president & CEO, DPAA. “We look forward to working closely with Rouge Media as they accelerate their growth in the U.S., and we welcome them to our rapidly growing ranks of international members which in addition to Canada encompasses Brazil and other Latin America countries, the UK and other EMEA nations.”

Alison Jacobs, EVP North America, Rouge Media, said, “Membership in the DPAA and the access it provides to best practices, research and education will enable us to elevate the already high standards that we set for ourselves on behalf of our brand partners. It also gives us a voice in setting the course for the future of the rapidly growing digital place-based media sector.”

Membership in DPAA encompasses numerous benefits, including admission to quarterly member events; access to an extensive database of research, best practices and case studies; tools for planning, training and forecasting; social media amplification; publication discounts; an opportunity to participate in media partnerships as well as the DPAA-Nielsen Service Bureau and DPAA-Nielsen Digital Diploma Series Training Program; insights on software and hardware solutions; further integration into the advertising ecosystem as part of the video everywhere conversation and marketing campaign; and more.
